welcome to Fundacja Orange

In May 2009, the TP Group’s Foundation changed its name to Fundacja Orange.
In this way, Poland is joining the other countries where corporate philanthropy actions are carried out under the Orange brand, like France, Spain or Romania.
Each corporate philanthropy action in countries where the Group is based work within the philanthropy policy defined (health-disability, education and culture), while taking local needs into consideration. Nevertheless, they are rallied behind one common mission: enabling everyone to communicate better, combating sensory and social isolation, ensuring greater independence in day-to-day and working life, and encouraging cultural development.

The Polish foundation will continue with the programs that are underway, such as Sounds of Dreams, and has just launched a new program: Akademia Orange. Its aim is to enable children and young people, notably those facing social exclusion, to maintain a personal and creative dialogue with culture. The program will include: multimedia projects bringing culture closer to children; innovative cultural projects and events, as well as training for teachers and cultural coordinators.

Fundacja Orange may carry out joint projects with the Group’s other foundations: the Orange foundations in France and Poland have already decided to co-finance an exemplary new project aimed at helping people with autism in Poland. The "Pracownia Rzeczy Roznych" project [Workshops for different things] is a specific program for adults with autism set-up by the Synapsis Foundation in the Center for Adults with Autism near Warsaw.

In addition, on May 16, 2009, Fundacja Orange supported the third "Masa na Autyzm" bicycle rally held in Warsaw with a view to promoting knowledge about autism and raising funds for the Synapsis Foundation.
